Bishops House is well known in Sheffield. Situated in Meersbrook Park where we also find Meersbrook Hall. Stooped in history and a lot of mystery. This house holds secrets that we may never discover.

I have spent quite some time at Bishops House since moving to Sheffield and have been researching its history for the last few months in more detail.

I have painted this image with the Dogwood rose bushes that were previously here and are missed by many who love the house.

I have also let a small chicken roam the grounds to pay homage to the White family who were the last known farmers farming the land between the house and the Meers Brook in the 19th century. The land was then owned by Samuel Shore of Norton and was farmed by the Whites for 50-60 years.
